Do we pray? Yes, we do.

Do we offer Salah? Yes, we do.

(Masha'Allah! Majority of Muslim Ummah are practicing muslims as compare to other religion).

But, why we are not being heard?

Now, thats a difficult question??

Answer to this question is very concentrated in nature. I want you to close your eyes and travel through the ages with the visualization of 'Holy Books/Scriptures' which were sent down by Allah SWT to Holy Prophet Moses P.B.U.H then to Holy Prophet Dawood P.B.U.H then to Holy Prophet Jesus P.B.U.H. and finally to the last and final messenger of Allah SWT, Muhammad P.B.U.H. You will now see people were always rebellious, wicked and hypocrites from ancient times till present, they rejected faith and gone astray and then you will see the huge blow of dust burying all of them to flat lands and now it starts moving towards you... and your reflex action inside your mind forces you to open your eyes and get rid of it. If you feel scared for a moment and so.. then read this message of Allah SWT:

"Those who resist Allah And His Messenger will be Humbled to dust, as were Those before them: for We have already sent down Clear Signs. And the Unbelievers (Will have) a humiliating Penalty - On the Day that Allah will rise them All up (again) and show Them the Truth (and meaning) Of their conduct. Allah has reckoned its (value), though They may have forgotten it, For Allah is Witness To all things."

Holy Quran 58: 5-6

Don't dabble in distress and get Back to normal.. Now!

Why those people and civilizations humbled down to dust? What was the reason?

The reality is...After getting Holy Books, responses of the people from ancient times till present are more or less the same. They always seem to divert themselves from the Holy Book "which is a code to live." Which means, people tend to get meaning out from their meaningless brains, mentors, rituals, cultures, idols and/or think of themselves as 'wise' as/above 'The Code'. Hence rejected faith and gone astray.

Most of us (we muslims) offer salah/prayers five times a day? Have you ever realized that the soul of Quran is always absent in those prayers? One of the psychological meaning of salah is to program human-beings (muslims) with the message of Holy Quran and after salam (prayer's conclusion) you should be ready to do what you read before Allah SWT. For instance, a man is offering Salah and in his Salah he reads:

"O my son! establish Regular prayer, enjoin what is Just, and forbid what is wrong: And bear with patient constancy Whatever betide thee; for this Is firmness (of purpose) In (the conduct of) affairs. "And swell not thy cheek (For pride) at men, Nor walk in insolence Through the earth; For Allah loveth not Any arrogant boaster. "And be moderate In thy pace, and lower Thy voice; for the harshest Of sounds without doubt Is the braying of the ass."

Holy Quran 31: 17-19

And after concluding his salah, he forgets (with awareness) everything what he read in his salah and start behaving exactly contrary to the message (Holy Quran 31: 17-19) in his real life. This means he has learned nothing from his prayers and there is no Esslah (Self correction) for him. Yes, off-course most of the non-arabic speaking people can easily say "we don't know arabic!" but that doesn't mean "we can not read translation!!!". By the way, most of the Arabs do speak and understand modern arabic and there are increasing numbers who does not know/understand the classical & mystical arabic of Holy Quran...

Quote, It reflects a perennial worry in the Arab world about the state of the language. Classical Arabic, the language of the Koran, and its modern version, Modern Standard Arabic, known in academia as MSA, are a world apart from the dialects that people use every day. Spoken and written in the media and on stuffy occasions, this kind of Arabic is no one’s mother tongue. It is painfully acquired through hours of poring over grammar textbooks and memorising the Koran. Could it one day become obsolete? , UnQuote.

Hence, there are ways to get job done. But we spend most of our lives in procrastination and never ever seriously try/realize to know our Holy Quran completely. I have a firm belief that whatever you pray you will get sawab (blessings) but we need to think beyond some sawabs (blessings)! We need to understand the message of Holy Quran which will give us blessings like the size of the sky because we understand and we practice what Allah SWT demand's us to do?

This secret yet none has grasped
That Muslim Scripture reads so sweet
Practising rules by it prescribed,
Becomes its pattern quite complete.

Allama Iqbal, "A Muslim." Zarb-i-Kalim. Translated by Professor (Retd.) Syed Akbar Ali Shah 1983. Sheikhupura: Iqbal Academy Pakistan.

If you practice what you read in your Salah then you will be A changed YOU after every Salah. At the climax of this Salah practice, when whole of the Quran is being travelled all over you. You will get the feeling of your up-gradation as A Momin (A Degree higher than Muslim) and will feel the soul of this Holy Book. You will be lighter in weight (sins) and higher in spirituality. Your internal and external world will be free from all concerns, worries and problems. Otherwise Holy Quran will remain a closed book in our homes which will (Allah forbids) remain close generations after generations.

"It was the first religion that preached and practised democracy; for, in the mosque when the call from the Minaret is sounded and the worshippers are gathered together, the democracy of Islam is embodied five times a day when the peasant and the king kneel side by side and proclaim, "God alone is great." I have been struck over and over again by this indivisible unity of Islam that makes a man distinctively a brother."

The Late Sirojini Naidu - AGreat Hindu poetess

Therefore, my message to all muslims (including myself) is to Love Quran, Read Quran and Practice the message of Quran. This will make us feel proud one day and we will InshaAllah get special place in hereafter where Allah SWT and His Last and final Rasoool Muhammad SAW will be very proud to welcome us in paradise (Insha'Allah).

Remember our Holy Prophet said:

"The best of you is he who learnt the Holy Quran and taught it to others.” (Bukhari)
